Five Danish daycare-centers for children wants to use chips to keep record of the children.
The man behind the idea, Leif Haarbo Nielsen, chief of analysis and innovation in Skanderborg Municipality. He wants to use the good results from the elder-care. Where senile old people have been given an GPS, so that the nursing staff can find them again, if they get lost.

A study of 30.000 children born in 1992 and graduated the 9th grade in 2008, shows that there is a connection between the children achieving better grades in 9th grade exam, if they in went to a high-quality preschool.
The study was a joint effort by the researchers from the Institute of Governmental Research (AKF), SFI - The National Centre for Social Research, Aarhus University and Maastricht University, who conducted the survey.
